Accounts Receivable Officer | Full-Time | Kilsyth
A leading logistics and distribution business based in Kilsyth is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Accounts Receivable Officer to join their finance team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Working within a fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in maintaining cash flow, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding accounts.
Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end accounts receivable processing
• Managing debtor collections and aged debt follow-up
• Processing customer payments and allocating receipts
• Raising invoices, credit notes and account adjustments
• Reconciling customer accounts and ledgers
• Investigating and resolving payment discrepancies
• Preparing debtor reports and assisting with month-end processes
• Building positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders

About You

• Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or Accounts Officer position
• Strong collection and customer service skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with ERP systems is highly regarded
• Exposure to logistics, transport, warehousing or distribution industries will be advantageous
