Looking for a new stores person to join a team in Murarrie, QLD

Your new company
HAYS has partnered with a global leader who manufactures construction accessories to help support making buildings secure, safe and efficient. Our client collaborates with engineers & contractors worldwide to enhance their performance and be the first point to call. Their ever-growing work load is now needing a Store person to join their team in Murarrie, Brisbane!
Your new role
As their new Stores Person, you will be responsible for the following duties but not limited to:

• Receive incoming goods, materials and checking quantities
• Loading and loading of trucks & containers using forklift
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately for dispatch
• Prepare products for dispatch, such as labelling, palletising, wrapping and securing loads
• Conduct high-reach forklift operations
• Assist in regular stock takes and maintain inventory records
• Liaise and collaborate with other departments and key teams to reach deadlines and targets
• Follow health and safety procedures and safe-handling practices
• Assist in general warehousing duties when required and contribute to a safe and clean working environment

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you must have the following:

• Valid High risk Work - LF licence
• Previous experience in a warehousing role or similar
• experience in both counterbalance and high reach forklift operations
• Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse systems
• Ability to pass a full medical, including drug & alcohol test
