Our client is a well-respected not-for-profit organisation that advocates for workers' rights and conditions. Their Industrial team works to protect and advance the employment rights of members across the sector. What's on Offer
  • $40 - $45 per hour + Super, depending on experience
  • Ongoing contract - 3 days per week initially, with view to move full-time
  • ASAP start, office based in Abbotsford
  • Flexible working hours (3 days per week to start)

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing high-level administrative and legal support to a team of 5 industrial lawyers
  • Preparing, filing and submitting court and tribunal documents
  • Liaising with courts, tribunals and external stakeholders
  • Managing correspondence, files and case documentation with a high level of accuracy
  • Supporting the team in matters relating to employment rights and industrial law
  • General legal administration duties as required
About You
  • Previous experience in a legal support or paralegal role is essential
  • Experience preparing and submitting documents to courts/tribunals
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • A collaborative, friendly approach and the ability to work well within a team
  • Experience in industrial or employment law is highly regarded but not essential
  • Prior experience in the not-for-profit sector is a bonus
