The Opportunity

St Joseph’s School is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Teacher Relief Teachers (TRTs) to join our vibrant Preschool to Year 6 learning community. We welcome applications from both graduate and experienced teachers who are passionate about education and committed to creating positive learning experiences for students.

As a TRT, you will work across a range of year levels, delivering engaging learning programs and maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences. This is an excellent opportunity to build experience in a supportive and collaborative environment while contributing to a school community grounded in the Josephite values of respect, forgiveness, compassion, service and hope. If you are beginning your teaching career or bringing years of classroom experience, you will play an important role in supporting student learning, wellbeing, and engagement.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Deliver effective learning programs across a range of year levels.
  • Foster safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environments.
  • Support student wellbeing and positive behaviour.
  • Adapt learning experiences to meet diverse student needs.
  • Follow school routines and procedures to ensure continuity of learning.
  • Collaborate professionally with staff and school leaders.
