The successful applicant will be committed to building strong partnerships with families, collaborating authentically with colleagues, and creating learning environments where every child is known, valued, and supported to flourish.
At St Gabriel's, we believe in educating the whole child. Our teaching and learning approach is grounded in evidence-informed practice and a deep understanding of child development. - Demonstrate a genuine commitment to recognising and nurturing the strengths, interests, and potential of every child.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to design engaging and responsive learning experiences.
- Create inclusive learning environments where children feel safe, valued, and connected.
- Employ evidence-informed teaching practices aligned with the Science of Learning, including explicit instruction, guided practice, feedback, and assessment for learning.
- Design rich, open-ended learning opportunities that foster creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking, and student agency.
- Be reflective, curious, and committed to ongoing professional growth.
- Contribute enthusiastically to the Catholic life and mission of the school.
We offer:
- A welcoming and collaborative staff culture.
- A strong commitment to professional learning and growth.
- The opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families.
- A permanent position within a thriving and supportive school community.
If you are an educator who is passionate about inspiring young learners, values strong relationships, and believes that excellence and creativity belong together in the classroom, we would love to hear from you.
