Join Our Lady Queen of Peace School – Upper Primary Permanent Teaching  -Commencing January 2027

Our Lady Queen of Peace School is seeking passionate and innovative educators to join our vibrant learning community. We invite applications for a upper primary permanent teaching position, starting in January 2027.

We are looking for a teacher who are committed to contemporary pedagogical practices and who will contribute positively to our school’s Catholic identity and Mercy tradition.

About you

You Will be:

• Supportive and promote the Catholic identity and ethos of the school, delivering engaging and contemporary Religious Education experiences that foster faith formation and connection to Gospel values.
• Focused on contemporary, inclusive and evidence-informed pedagogies to enhance student engagement, inquiry and co-constructed learning across all curriculum areas.
• Able to Design and implement data-informed learning programs, particularly in literacy and numeracy, that respond to individual student needs and support improved learning outcomes.
• Committed to creating a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes student wellbeing, social and emotional learning, self-regulation, responsibility and success.
• Able to Build and maintain strong professional relationships with students, families, colleagues and the wider community through effective communication and collaboration.
• Contributing as a reflective and collaborative educator, engaging in ongoing professional learning, embracing innovation and supporting school improvement initiatives.
• Actively contribute to a positive school culture, demonstrating professionalism, teamwork and a commitment to the learning and wellbeing of every student.

Requirements:

The successful applicant must hold or be willing to obtain:

• A current Working With Children Check / Catholic Clearance
• Full-day (7-hour) RRHAN-EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education and Care) training
• RRHAN-EC update (if applicable)
• Current First Aid certificate - HLTAID012
