You will join a high-performing Corporate team in Brisbane, working alongside experienced and highly regarded Partners on a varied portfolio of transactions, advisory matters and strategic commercial projects.

The Role
This position offers broad exposure to corporate and commercial work, including:

  • Mergers and acquisitions (M&A)
  • Equity and debt capital markets transactions
  • Corporate advisory matters
  • Joint ventures and strategic partnerships
  • Commercial arrangements and contract negotiations
  • Corporate governance and regulatory advice
  • Corporate restructures and business reorganisations
  • Drafting and negotiating a broad range of corporate and commercial agreements

You will take an active role in matters, working directly with clients and contributing to practical, commercially focused solutions across a diverse range of industries and sectors.

About You
We are interested in speaking with corporate lawyers looking to further develop their technical expertise within a collaborative and client-focused environment. Ideally, you will have:

  • 4–7 years' PAE in Corporate & Commercial law
  • Experience across M&A, corporate advisory and commercial transactions
  • Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills
  • Exposure to corporate governance and commercial contracting
  • A commercial and pragmatic approach, with a genuine interest in understanding client objectives
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
