We are looking for a highly organised, passionate, and driven HR Administrator to join a growing business in Laverton.

Working closely with a HR Manager, you will play a key role in keeping people processes running smoothly. From recruitment coordination and onboarding to compliance, HR administration, and day-to-day support, you will help ensure employees have the right support from day one.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment across multiple verticals and screen applications against position requirements.
  • Schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers, and coordinate reference checks and pre-employment checks.
  • Prepare employment contracts, letters of offer, and onboarding documentation.
  • Maintain employee personnel files and HR systems.
  • Prepare employment variations, confirmation letters, salary changes, probation letters and other employment documentation.
  • Process employee lifecycle administration, including onboarding, promotions and offboarding.
  • Maintain HR documentation in accordance with legislative and company requirements.
  • Monitor licence, qualification and certification renewals and ensure compliance documentation is current.
  • Maintain HRIS data integrity and generate reports on recruitment, turnover, headcount and workforce metrics.

About you

  • Previous experience in an administration role.
  • No prior HR experience is needed. Company are willing to train the right applicant.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Excellent document management skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Basic understanding of Australian employment legislation is preferable, but not a requirement.
