6-month temporary Senior HR Consultant - Job Classification & Evaluation opportunity within state government.

A large government organisation is seeking an experienced Senior HR Consultant to support a significant organisational restructure and job review project. This is an opportunity to join a specialist HR team and contribute to high-profile workforce planning and classification initiatives.
Your new role
Reporting into the Talent Team, you will provide specialist advice and support across job classification and evaluation activities. Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and assessing Job Description Forms (JDFs)
• Undertaking job classification and work value assessments
• Applying the BIPERS job evaluation methodology
• Providing evidence-based classification recommendations and advice
• Preparing supporting documentation and reports
• Assisting with large-scale position review and restructure projects
• Working closely with key stakeholders to deliver classification outcomes

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will demonstrate:

• Extensive experience in job classification and job evaluation
• Strong practical knowledge of the BIPERS job evaluation methodology
• Experience conducting work value assessments and classification reviews
• Ability to provide clear, defensible classification recommendations
• Strong written communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Previous experience within the WA public sector or a comparable government environment
• Experience supporting organisational restructures and position review projects
