About the role
We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join a major commercial construction project in Mandurah. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a landmark new-build development, working alongside a high-performing project team to drive a strong safety culture from site establishment through to completion.

Duties and responsibilities

• Monitor and promote compliance with site health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify hazards, risks and corrective actions.
• Lead incident reporting, investigations and follow-up actions to prevent recurrence.
• Support supervisors and subcontractors in implementing safe work practices.
• Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and ongoing safety awareness training.
• Review SWMS, JHAs and permit systems to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Maintain accurate HSE records and contribute to project safety performance reporting.

Skills and experience required

• HSE Advisor experience on major commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and safety compliance.
• Experience conducting site inspections and safety audits.
• Proven incident investigation and reporting skills.
• Ability to review SWMS, risk assessments and permits.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
