Truck Driver – Medium Rigid Parcel Freight

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Freight Handling Pick-Up & Delivery Driver to join our team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being on the road, working with customers and getting the job done safely and efficiently.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Picking up and delivering freight to customers and businesses
• Loading and unloading freight from the truck
• Securing freight safely for transport
• Completing delivery paperwork and following delivery procedures
• Providing professional and friendly customer service
• Conducting basic vehicle checks and maintaining a clean and safe vehicle
• Following all workplace health and safety requirements
• Working efficiently to meet daily delivery schedules

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current Medium Rigid (MR) Driver’s Licence – essential
• Previous experience in freight, transport, delivery or logistics
• A good driving history
• Excellent time management and reliability
• Good communication and customer service skills
• The ability to safely lift and handle freight
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• A professional and positive attitude
