Project Geologist

• Meekatharra, Western Australia
• FIFO from Perth on 8/6 roster
• Second-in-charge geology leadership responsibilities

Role Opportunity

• Support geological modelling, grade control oversight and reporting for an active gold mining operation. This position also supervises mine geology personnel and contributes to operational planning and an underground feasibility study.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Geology
• 4-6 years' geology experience
• Gold project experience highly regarded
• Underground geology and grade control expertise
• Leapfrog and Surpac software proficiency

Duties & Responsibilities

• Approve dig plans and minimise dilution
• Reconcile ore blocks against models
• Update geological models using new data
• Supervise geology crews and pit technicians
• Contribute to budgets, forecasts and studies

• Our client is an ASX listed gold mining company with a large tenement package in Western Australia's Murchison goldfield. Its operations include multiple gold deposits .
