They are seeking a Fitter (General) to join our dynamic team. This is a hands-on role offering diverse and rewarding work in a supportive environment where quality and precision are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit out pump station tanks in accordance with specifications.
• Build and configure booster and filter system assemblies.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
• Ensure all work meets QMAX's quality, safety, and performance standards.
• Collaborate with workshop personnel and engineering staff to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment.

Skills and Experience

• Relevant experience or qualifications for a similar role
• Australian Citizens & Permanent Residents only
• Mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Previous experience in mechanical assembly, fabrication, or a similar workshop environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
