The Role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you’ll be part of a collaborative payroll team responsible for processing a medium to high-volume end-to-end payroll.
You’ll manage weekly and fortnightly payroll, payroll reconciliations, month-end reporting and third-party payments, while ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. There will also be opportunities to get involved in payroll projects and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process end-to-end weekly and fortnightly payroll
  • Manage payroll reconciliations and month-end reporting
  • Process third-party payments
  • Maintain employee records, leave balances and entitlements
  • Interpret and apply the Manufacturing Award
  • Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and company policies
  • Respond to payroll queries across the business
  • Work closely with HR, Finance and operational teams
  • Support payroll projects and process improvements

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience processing end-to-end payroll
  • Experience processing medium to high-volume payroll
  • Strong ADP Payforce experience is highly desirable
  • Experience across weekly or fortnightly payroll
  • Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and Awards
  • Manufacturing Award experience would be highly regarded
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative and proactive approach
