About the role

BBQ-K Springvale is a Korean BBQ restaurant located in the heart of Springvale, Victoria, specializing in authentic Korean dishes with various Asian cuisine combinations. We are seeking a passionate experienced cook to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in commercial kitchens preferably with the expertise to contribute to the menu and kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes according to provided recipes
• Oversee kitchen staffs and ensure smooth kitchen operations during service
• Involve in menu developing and creating
• Ordering, stock control and rotation (FIFO)
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and comply with food safety regulations
• Collaborate with the restaurant management team

What we're looking for

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in similar roles or in hospitality environment
• Have a right to work in Australia
• Fully available over a 7-day roster and able to work 5 days weekly shifts including weekends
• Able to work under pressure and be a team player
• Strong communication skills and attention to details
• Able to relocate or commute yourself
