About Our Client
partnering with a well-established Australian FMCG and manufacturing organisation with approximately $80M turnover, looking for a hands-on Financial Accountant to join their growing finance team.Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role will act as a key link between senior leadership and the wider finance function. It's an excellent opportunity for an accountant who enjoys a broad role and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves across both financial and operational accounting activities.
Job Description
- Prepare and manage financial statements and reports with accuracy.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Support the preparation of tax returns and other financial documents.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial record-keeping.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accountant should have:
- Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Strong skills in financial reporting and analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Preferably SAP B1!
- A solid understanding of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
