Your new roleReporting directly to the Finance & Operations Manager, this is a hands-on and varied position suitable for an experienced Finance Officer or Assistant Accountant who enjoys working autonomously in a small team environment.
Key responsibilities include:

  • End-to-end Accounts Payable processing
  • End to end Accounts Receivable management and invoicing
  • Payroll processing and payroll administration
  • Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assisting with month-end reporting and finance administration
  • Supporting audits and maintaining financial records
  • Contributing to process improvements across finance operations
  • Providing general finance and operational support as required

What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a Finance Officer, Assistant Accountant or similar position
  • Strong Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
  • Payroll processing experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach
  • The ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience using ELMO or similar payroll systems will be highly regarded
  • Experience within healthcare, research, not-for-profit or related sectors will be advantageous
