Boilermaker

Boilermaker | Full time permanent | Monday - Friday | $50hr - $65hr

This is a unique opportunity to be involved in the fabrication and manufacture of new drill rigs, support vehicles, and specialised mining equipment, contributing directly to the growth of a modern fleet and ongoing operational success.
Working within a modern workshop environment, you will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, modification, and welding of drilling and mining equipment to the highest safety and quality standards.

Your new role

• Fabrication and manufacture of new drill rigs and associated equipment
• Structural steel fabrication and welding
• Assembly and fit-up of components and sub-assemblies
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and fabrication plans
• MIG, FCAW and stick welding to specification
• Installation of brackets, guards, platforms, handrails and structural components
• Operating workshop equipment and tooling safely
• Working closely with mechanical trades and production teams
• Ensuring all work is completed to quality, safety and production requirements
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area

What you'll need to succeed

• Australian recognised Trade Certificate (Boilermaker/Fabricator)
• Previous experience within heavy fabrication, mining, drilling, transport, or mobile plant industries
• Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
• Strong welding and fabrication skills
• Experience manufacturing heavy equipment, machinery, or vehicles highly regarded
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Full Australian working rights
