Your new role
We are seeking an experienced Parking Officer to join the team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will be responsible for enforcing local parking regulations, monitoring parking compliance, issuing infringement notices, and providing professional assistance to members of the public.

  • You will patrol designated areas on foot and by vehicle
  • Investigate parking-related complaints
  • Respond to customer enquiries
  • Assist with traffic and parking management during events or emergencies.
  • Your ability to apply legislation fairly, communicate effectively with the public, and remain professional in challenging situations will be key to your success

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience as a Parking Officer, Ranger, Compliance Officer, or within a similar regulatory enforcement role
  • Sound knowledge of parking legislation, local laws, and infringement processes
  • Strong conflict resolution and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and confidently in a public-facing environment
  • Experience using handheld infringement devices or parking enforcement systems (desirable)
  • Current C Class Driver's Licence
  • Current National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
