About the Design Technology role

Position: Design Technology Teacher

Location: Northern Victoria (approx. 40 minutes from Shepparton)

Teaching allocation may include:

• Design & Technology – Years 7–10

• Technology or applied learning electives in Years 9–12

• Practical workshop and project-based learning

• Participation in STEM and innovation programs across year levels

The ideal Design Technology teacher will

• Hold relevant secondary teaching qualifications (e.g., B.Ed., M.Teach) with a Technology or Design focus

• Be registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)

• Demonstrate strong practical workshop and project-based teaching skills

• Create engaging hands-on learning experiences for students

• Foster creativity, problem-solving, and innovation

• Contribute positively to the broader school community
