We’re looking for a reliable, safety-focused Forklift Operator who is flexible, hardworking and happy to get stuck in. You’ll enjoy a varied role combining forklift operation with production and site support.

You’ll be joining a leading Australian manufacturer of specialised chemical products used in road surfacing projects across the country.

What you’ll be doing

• Operating a counterbalance forklift to move materials around the site
• Loading and unloading materials and moving products to and from production areas
• Assisting with control room operations
• Cleaning, maintaining and securing equipment
• Supporting general production activities as required
• Occasionally driving a company car to transport samples between sites
• Participating in safety meetings and following all site safety procedures
• Working as part of a close-knit production team

What you’ll need

• Current Counterbalance Forklift Licence – essential
• Current Driver’s Licence – essential
• Must be flexible and available to work across different shift times, including days, nights and weekends
• Willingness to work overtime is essential
• Comfortable working in a hot and sometimes strong-smelling plant environment
• Good computer skills
• Strong safety awareness and a reliable attitude
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
