Electrical Assembler

Job Description:
Capture Recruitment is seeking a Electrical Assembler for a position based in the Western Suburbs on Day shift for those with demonstrated experience. This is an ongoing role with an immediate start and a view to permanency for the right candidate.

Shift Schedule:

• Day Shift, 7:00am to 3:00pm
• Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick & prepare components from the warehouse for assembly
• Assemble products in accordance with technical drawings, procedures & job instructions
• Reading & interpreting industrial drawings for assembly of industrial fans
• Use of hand & power tools
• Forklift driving
• Manual handling tasks
• Carry out regular maintenance on assembly line tools & report defects to the Production Supervisor or Operations Manager
• Assist with warehouse duties as required, including non routine operational tasks
• Maintain clean, organised & safe equipment, machinery & work areas

Requirements:

• Current & valid forklift licence is essential
• Ability to read & interpret technical drawings essential
• Mechanical aptitude, with technical or trade training in mechanical processes considered highly desirable
• Experience using hand & power tools
• Experience using overhead crane advantageous
• Proven ability to work with & meet KPI's
• Basic computer capability across Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word & Microsoft Outlook
