Our client is looking to hire a Registered Nurse with anaesthetics/recovery and scrub/scout experience to join a private hospital theatre team in Hobart, Tasmania.

About the Facility

A private, mission-based hospital in Hobart, Tasmania, providing perioperative and surgical services across a range of specialties, with a genuine care-focused culture.

The Role

Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will work within the perioperative team across anaesthetics/recovery and scrub/scout duties, spanning a range of surgical specialties.

In this role, you will:

• Provide anaesthetics/recovery and scrub/scout support across a range of surgical specialties
• Prepare and maintain instrumentation and equipment for theatre lists
• Maintain the sterile field throughout procedures
• Support the surgical team through the full case
• Apply ACORN standards and NSQHS requirements throughout theatre practice
• Escalate patient safety concerns as they arise

What You Will Bring

• Current AHPRA registration/practising certificate as a Registered Nurse
• Demonstrated anaesthetics/recovery and/or scrub/scout experience in an operating theatre environment
• Strong knowledge of ACORN standards and NSQHS requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work within, and contribute positively to, a team
• Eligibility to work in Australia
