Job Description
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts to support supply chain operations.
- Coordinate supply planning activities to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement and production schedules.
- Analyse inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Monitor and report on key supply chain performance metrics.
- Implement strategies to optimise costs and enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies and standards in procurement and supply chain processes.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Demand & Supply Planner should have:
- Experience in demand planning, supply planning or supply chain management, within the chemicals, industrial or manufacturing sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools including SAP.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Knowledge of compliance and industry standards in supply chain processes.
