Commercial Cleaner / Housekeeper

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner / Housekeeper to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining clean, hygienic and presentable commercial and residential spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties.
• Perform laundry tasks including washing, drying and folding.
• Vacuum, mop, sweep and clean floors and surfaces.
• Maintain reception presentation, cleanliness and professional appearance standards.
• Clean bathrooms, kitchens and common areas.
• Dust, wipe and sanitise furniture, fixtures and high-touch areas.
• Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Clean windows and glass surfaces as required.
• Restock cleaning supplies and report low stock.
• Follow cleaning schedules, procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Use cleaning chemicals, equipment and products safely and correctly.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Report any damage, maintenance issues or hazards to the supervisor.
• Work independently and as part of a team when required.
• Maintain professional and respectful communication with clients and staff.

Skills & Requirements

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Good attention to detail and pride in your work.
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform cleaning duties.
• Strong understanding of hygiene and safety practices.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Police check and/or relevant licences may be required depending on the workplace.
