An established and highly regarded Chartered Accounting practice based in Gordon is looking for an experienced Client Services Officer to provide high-level administrative and client support across the business.

This is a varied role ideally suited to someone who has worked within an accounting, financial services or professional services environment and enjoys taking ownership, keeping things organised and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

The Role You will work closely with the management team and wider practice, with responsibilities including:

  • Setting up and maintaining SMSFs, including deed updates, trustee changes and pension documentation
  • Establishing Bare/Custodian Trusts and discretionary and unit trusts
  • ASIC and corporate compliance, including company formations, changes and lodgements
  • ABR registrations and maintenance
  • Preparing share transfer documentation and maintaining company registers
  • Setting up new clients and maintaining client information
  • Assisting with ATO-related administration
  • Collating and checking assessments and Statements of Advice
  • Assisting with tax return lodgements and general practice administration
  • Preparing client and management reports
  • Managing documentation and internal systems
  • Responding to client enquiries via phone and email
  • Providing ongoing support to management and assisting reception when required

The original brief specifically calls for strong MS Word and Excel skills, experience with MYOB Accountants Enterprise, excellent client service, discretion and confidentiality, and someone capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal direction.

About You You’ll be a highly organised, detail-focused professional who is comfortable dealing with clients and senior management. Previous experience within an accounting practice would be highly advantageous, particularly exposure to SMSFs, ASIC, ATO and corporate compliance.

You’ll bring strong communication skills, excellent time management and the ability to take responsibility for your workload in a busy professional environment.

What’s On Offer

  • Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 + Super, negotiable depending on experience
