Service Manager (AJ8264)

Our client is seeking an experienced Service Manager to take ownership of their multi-site established dealership Service Departments.

You’ll have the opportunity to make an impact in a business where relationships matter, decisions are made locally and good people are valued for the contribution they make.

The Role

This is a hands-on leadership position with responsibility for the team, workshop performance, customer experience and commercial results.

You will:

• Lead, mentor and develop Service Advisors, Technicians, Apprentices and support staff
• Drive productivity, efficiency, utilisation and labour recovery
• Manage WIP, departmental KPIs, budgets and operational performance
• Maintain manufacturer, warranty and WHS standards
• Build strong relationships with customers and support customer retention
• Work closely with the Dealer Principal and family ownership on continuous improvement

About You

We’re looking for an experienced dealership professional who combines strong people leadership with a sound understanding of Service Department operations.

Previous experience as a Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager, Workshop Controller or Foreman will be highly regarded, along with leading manufacturer dealership experience.

You’ll understand workshop performance and financial KPIs, communicate well with customers and staff, and bring a practical leadership style that earns the respect of your team.
