Job Description

• Design, implement, and manage secure network solutions with a focus on SASE technologies.
• Monitor and optimise network performance to ensure reliable and secure connectivity.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network and security-related issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with organisational security policies.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate potential threats.
• Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls and VPNs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Stay updated on emerging network and security technologies relevant to the public sector.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Network & Security Engineer should have:

• Strong technical expertise in Fortinet SASE technologies and network security.
• Proven experience in designing and managing secure network infrastructures.
• Knowledge of firewall management, VPNs, and other security protocols.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work effectively in a public sector environment.
• Relevant certifications in network and security technologies would be advantageous.
