STEELFIXERS - BRISBANE

Looking for a change, new role, new environment? 
Our client is a major supplier in the production of large precast concrete products used in developing innovative site-specific solutions that impact stormwater management for the environment. They are currently seeking experienced Steel fixers to join their team. 
 
What you could be doing! 
Steel Fixers 

• Preparation - measuring, marking, cutting rebar or mesh using hand/power tools 

• Fabrication - tying reo steel, wire mesh, or pre-welded cages for precast concrete products 

• Read and interpret basic drawings 

• General workshop housekeeping 

💼 The good stuff! 

• Above Award Casual Rates with overtime penalties – where applicable 

• Steel Fixers - $50.88ph based on proven experience 
• Healthy work-life balance: Monday to Friday roughly 40 hours per week  

• Ongoing opportunity, with views to permanency after six months 

• Staplyton based role 

 
  What we’ll need from you!  

• Previous experience in a similar environment 

• Drivers Licence and reliable transport 

• Be able work autonomously with a strong safety focus 

• Proficient in the use of hand & power tools 

• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening 

• Immediate start required - be available for a meet and greet on site 

• Full working rights in Australia.
