About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Trade Assistant to support our Service Technicians in our busy Service Centre. You'll play a key role in keeping our workshop running smoothly — assisting with the disassembly and assembly of customer products, maintaining a clean and organised workspace, and helping ensure every job is completed safely and to a high standard.
This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude who's looking to build hands-on experience and grow their skills in a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Disassembling and assembling customer products under the guidance and supervision of qualified technicians
• General cleaning of parts and workshop area
• Painting and final assembly of products
• Packing and preparing products for shipment
• Assisting Service Technicians with other repairs and servicing of products
• Operating plant and equipment, e.g. overhead crane and forklift
• Ensuring all company and WHS procedures are followed at all times

What We're Looking For

• General mechanical experience required
• Forklift licence preferred
• Previous experience operating an overhead crane preferred
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• A reliable, hands-on team player with a good work ethic
