About The Opportunity:
We're looking for a passionatePastry Sous Chefto join the opening team at Noẽma. As part of our pastry team, you'll help bring the dessert offering to life at Noẽma, creating exceptional pastries, desserts and baked goods in a fast-paced, premium kitchen. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new venue and help shape the guest experience from day one.

The Ideal Candidate: 

  • Demonstrated experience as a Pastry Sous Chef in a premium restaurant
  • Strong understanding of contemporary Mediterranean cuisine, with Greek and live-fire experience highly regarded.
  • Effective management and communication of diverse team
  • Experience in managing and maintaining food safety program including documentation
  • Rostering and ordering experience
  • Monitor and supervise OH&S standards and procedure
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
  • Genuine interest in the day to day operations
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Outstanding time management during preparation and service periods
  • Calm and composed demeanour
  • Full availability, able and willing to work weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts
