Cabinet Maker

Fetch Recruitment are looking for skilled & experienced cabinet makers to join one of our clients in an established commercial joinery business based in Preston, specialising in high-end custom joinery and commercial fit-outs.

The Role: You’ll be responsible for taking commercial joinery from drawings through to a high-quality finished product.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Reading architectural and shop drawings
• Measuring, cutting and assembling commercial cabinetry
• Manufacturing custom and detailed joinery
• Working with timber, veneer, laminate and other premium materials
• Building counters and reception desks
• Manufacturing banquette seating
• Working on curved and detailed joinery
• Laminating and veneering
• Fitting hinges, runners and specialist hardware
• Working independently and as part of a team

What We're Looking For:

• Strong commercial joinery experience
• Confident reading drawings and working to specifications
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of cabinetry construction and hardware
• Experience with counters, reception desks and banquette seating
• Experience with curved work, laminating and veneering
• Good problem-solving skills
• Reliable, organised and proud of your workmanship
• Full tool kit

Experience working with:

• Panel saw / table saw
• Edge bander
• CNC
• Routers
• Mitre / drop saw
• Planer and thicknesser
• Drill press
• Hand and power tools
