About the Role

You will oversee the accounting and bookkeeping team, allowing the Director to focus on business development, continuous improvement across the firm and broader business operations. While the role will retain some hands-on involvement with higher-level clients and complex advisory matters, the primary focus will be on:

• Managing, training, and mentoring the accounting and bookkeeping teams
• Allocating work and managing workflow across the practice
• Reviewing work and overseeing quality
• Managing key client relationships and conducting client meetings
• Preparing and presenting advisory and strategy work to clients
• Working closely with the Director on the continued growth and development of the firm

 
About You

• Previous Australian public practice experience at the Manager through to Associate Director level.
• Confident managing workflow across the practice.
• Strong communication skills.
• CA or CPA qualified.
