An independent, co-educational school in Sydney is seeking a passionate and dedicated Biology Teacher to join its Science Faculty from Term 1, 2026. This is a full-time, ongoing position within a supportive and forward-thinking learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in Biology and Science across secondary year levels

• Inspire and motivate students through practical, inquiry-based learning experiences

• Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues

• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to a dynamic and inclusive school culture

• Use technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning outcomes

Skills and Experience

• Strong knowledge of the NSW Science Syllabuses

• Demonstrated experience teaching Stage 6 Biology (HSC)

• Commitment to fostering academic growth and student wellbeing

• Proven ability to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons

Requirements

• Bachelor of Education or equivalent teaching qualification

• Current NESA accreditation and valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)

• Minimum six months’ teaching experience in a secondary setting (preferred)

• Two professional references, including your most recent employer
