Position: Organisational and Methods Analyst

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $80,000 plus superannuation per annum

Location: Glebe NSW 2037

Our client is seeking an Organisational and Methods Analyst to join their team in Glebe, New South Wales.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Helping develop goals, strategies and plans to improve customer experience and satisfaction and make better use of the organisation’s resources and capabilities.
  • Identifying business gaps and opportunities using continuous improvement and change management methods.
  • Reviewing and assessing existing systems, capabilities and organisational structures.
  • Recommending practical solutions to organisational problems based on identified gaps.
  • Preparing proposals to improve processes, workflows and job responsibilities and support innovation.
  • Helping implement approved recommendations.
  • Coaching and mentoring individuals and teams to develop specific skills and capabilities.

Business Analysis & Process Improvement

  • Analyse existing business processes, workflows, and operational practices.
  • Identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop practical recommendations to improve productivity, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Assist with implementing and monitoring improved processes and systems.
  • Map and document workflows, procedures, and business processes.

Documentation & Organisational Support

  • Prepare and maintain policies, procedures, process documents, and operational guides.
  • Organise business information and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, process maps, and business improvement materials.
  • Support the development and maintenance of internal systems and operational frameworks.

Reporting & Business Insights

  • Collect, organise, and analyse business and operational information.
  • Prepare regular reports and summaries for management.
  • Track KPIs, operational metrics, and project progress.
  • Conduct research and gather information to support business decisions.
  • Identify trends and provide practical insights based on available data.

Project & Operational Support

  • Assist with business improvement, systems, and operational projects.
  • Coordinate tasks and follow up on project deliverables and deadlines.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements.
  • Support the implementation of new processes, systems, and initiatives.
  • Assist with other operational and analytical tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in Business, Management, Commerce, Economics, Operations, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business analysis, management analysis, process improvement, operations, project coordination, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex information.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
  • Ability to document processes clearly and professionally.
  • Strong Microsoft Office / Google Workspace skills, particularly Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to identify issues and suggest practical solutions.
  • Willingness to learn and use AI tools to improve business processes and productivity.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with business process mapping or continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with project management or workflow management tools.
  • Experience with CRM, ERP, or other business management systems.
  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, or dashboard creation.
