Trainer/Assessor - High Voltage

An opportunity is available for an experienced Electrical Trainer/Assessor with a strong High Voltage background to support operations in Port Hedland.

In this role, you will deliver specialist training and competency assessments for High Voltage Operators responsible for operating complex electrical networks. You will play an important role in developing workforce capability and supporting safe, consistent operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering High Voltage training packages to operational personnel;
• Training HV Operators to safely operate complex electrical networks;
• Conducting practical and theoretical competency assessments;
• Supporting the appointment and ongoing competency of High Voltage Operators;
• Maintaining accurate training and assessment records;
• Supporting compliance with site procedures, electrical safety requirements and operational standards;
• Identifying opportunities to improve training quality and workforce capability.

What Youll Need to Succeed:

• A current Electrical Licence.
• A current High Voltage Switching Certificate.
• A recognised Trainer and Assessor qualification.
• Demonstrated experience working with High Voltage electrical systems and complex networks.
• Experience delivering training packages and completing competency assessments.
• Strong communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A commitment to safe work practices and operational excellence.
• An S26 qualification will be highly advantageous.

• $85-$100 per hour, based on experience.
