Senior Solution Architect role driving enterprise transformation, strategy and AI-enabled delivery

Our client is a leading South Australian organisation undertaking a significant technology transformation and expanding its Architecture Practice to support increasing business demand, strategic initiatives and enterprise-wide technology investment.Reporting to the Senior Manager of Technology Strategy & Architecture, you will join a highly regarded architecture function that partners closely with business leaders, project teams and technology stakeholders to shape and deliver critical business outcomes.
This is an opportunity to join a team with strong executive engagement, a clear technology roadmap and a mandate to improve architecture capability and influence across the enterprise.

Your new role
As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for translating business priorities into practical, scalable and secure technology solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects and programmes.Working across both strategic and delivery-focused initiatives, you will:

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture activities
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements and define solution outcomes
• Develop architecture artefacts, standards and design documentation
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise strategy, roadmaps and governance frameworks
• Work closely with project managers, technology teams and subject matter experts
• Provide architectural guidance across applications, integration, data, security and cloud platforms
• Contribute to architecture practice maturity, standards and continuous improvement
• Support modern, AI-enabled approaches to technology delivery and productivity

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will be a senior Solution Architect who combines strong technical capability with outstanding stakeholder engagement skills.You will bring:

• Extensive experience as a Solution Architect within complex enterprise environments
• Strong background across application architecture, integration, data and security domains
• Broad knowledge of cloud technologies and modern architecture practices
• Experience delivering architecture outcomes across large-scale business initiatives
• Strong consulting and stakeholder management capability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to navigate ambiguity and operate with a high degree of autonomy
• Experience working within architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
• Exposure to AI technologies and emerging technology trends will be highly regarded
