The organisation partners with major enterprises across Australia to deliver large-scale digital transformation initiatives, helping businesses modernise legacy systems and adopt cloud-native, API-led architectures. You will work on enterprise-grade integration platforms, APIs, and microservices within complex technology environments.Your new roleAs a Senior Java Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable APIs, microservices, and integration solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and MuleSoft. You will collaborate with architects, developers, product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, high-performing integration platforms.Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Building and supporting MuleSoft integration solutions and API-led connectivity frameworks.
• Developing secure, scalable integrations across enterprise applications.
• Contributing to microservices and integration architecture decisions.
• Creating API specifications, documentation, and technical artefacts.
• Performing testing, troubleshooting, code reviews, and production support.
• Supporting CI/CD pipelines and DevOps-driven delivery practices.
• Integrating cloud, on-premises, and hybrid systems.
• Assisting with legacy modernisation and cloud transformation programs.

What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will have:

• Strong commercial experience with Java 8+, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
• Proven experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and enterprise integrations.
