Your new role

Looking at traffic count data (how many cars use certain roads and intersections). Using Excel to create traffic flow diagrams and organise traffic information. Analysing traffic data to understand how roads and intersections are performing. Assisting with traffic modelling software (SIDRA and LinSig) to test how traffic moves through intersections. Helping engineers assess congestion, traffic performance, and potential road improvements

What you'll need to succeed
Essential:

• Basic understanding of how roads, intersections, and traffic flow work.
• Understanding of road design principles.
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas and data analysis.

Desirable:

• Experience with traffic modelling software such as SIDRA or LinSig.
• Experience working with traffic survey or transport data.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.

What you'll get in return
