Our client is a growing allied health practice committed to providing accessible, high-quality care to the local community. With a focus on client-centred treatment and collaborative healthcare, they are looking for a registered Podiatrist to join their team on an independent contractor basis.

This is a great opportunity for a Podiatrist looking for flexibility, with the ability to build their own caseload while working within an established clinic environment.

About the role:

Our client is seeking a qualified and client-focused Podiatrist to provide services on a per-client/per-session contractor basis.

You'll have the flexibility to set your own availability and gradually build your caseload, with the support and infrastructure of an established practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive podiatry assessments and treatments across a range of foot and lower limb presentations
• Provide general foot care, biomechanics assessments, wound care, and treatment of nail and skin conditions
• Develop individualised treatment plans based on each client's needs
• Prescribe and manage orthotics where clinically appropriate
• Liaise with GPs and other healthcare professionals as required, including in relation to Chronic Disease Management/EPC referrals
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with AHPRA and privacy requirements
• Deliver high-quality, client-centred care and build positive relationships with clients

Requirements:

• Full AHPRA registration as a Podiatrist
• Current Medicare provider number, or eligibility to obtain one
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Current National Police Check
• Current professional indemnity insurance
• Own professional equipment/tools, or willingness to use clinic-supplied equipment as arranged
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A client-focused approach to care
• Experience in diabetic foot care, biomechanics and/or aged care is highly regarded
