Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per annum + superannuation

Midas Flagstone Tyre & Auto Service is seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team.

Key Duties

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle faults.
• Service, maintain and repair motor vehicles.
• Repair engines, transmissions, brakes, steering and suspension systems.
• Dismantle, inspect, repair and reassemble mechanical components.
• Replace worn or defective vehicle parts.
• Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and road tests.
• Use diagnostic equipment and workshop tools safely.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment.

Requirements

• Relevant automotive/mechanical qualification – compulsory.
• Minimum 1 year relevant experience – compulsory.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual and safety focused.
• Current Australian driver's licence desirable.
