Our client is a specialist construction estimating firm supporting subcontractors, commercial builders and quantity surveyors across Australia. About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to prepare accurate, detailed estimates and tender submissions across a range of commercial construction projects, while developing your skills within a growing estimating team.

Reporting directly to the Business Director/Owner, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing accurate estimates and ensuring tenders are submitted on time
• Reviewing drawings and specifications, including structural (concrete, earthworks), fit-out and refurbishment scopes
• Preparing detailed trade breakups and bills of quantities
• Sourcing and obtaining competitive supplier and subcontractor pricing
• Analysing bid documents to identify risks and opportunities
• Working on tenders from initial documentation through to final submission

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident status
• Hands-on experience using Cubit or CostX (essential; Cubit highly regarded)
• 3+ years' commercial construction estimating experience, or relevant trade experience
• Experience tendering on structural projects (concrete, earthworks) and/or fit-out and refurbishment projects
• A genuine trade background, highly desirable
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
• A desire to progress into a Senior Estimator role and grow with the business
