Our client is a Southeast Queensland company providing high quality building materials and tools for both trade professionals and retail customers (Tiling, waterproofing and flooring products). Continuing to expand we are pleased to be recruiting for a permanent full-time Warehouse Storeperson to work at their Coopers Plains store.
This is an all-rounder warehouse/ customer service type position who enjoys working as part of a small team.
Responsibilities for this position include:
• Operate forklifts safely to load and unload goods
• Receive, check and put away incoming stock accurately
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders efficiently
• Assist walk-in customers with product enquiries and order fulfilment
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support stock control processes
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and replenishment
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe at all times
• Work closely with the sales team and store managers to ensure smooth daily
Requirements
To be considered:

Valid forklift licence, drivers licence. Can drive a high reach forklift

Previous experience in warehouse operations and/or building materials industry preferred

Ability to provide good customer service and communicate clearly

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks

Reliable, punctual and responsible

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Basic computer skills (for inventory and order systems)

Tiling, waterproofing or flooring experience highly desirable but not essential
