About the Role

- Match paint colours accurately to the vehicle's existing finish, whether by mixing paints to achieve the correct shade or selecting the right pre-mixed product
- Apply primer coats and finishing coats to vehicle surfaces using spray-guns, sanding back between coats to ensure a smooth, professional result
- Carry out paint touch-ups and apply polish to completed work, ensuring the finish is consistent and meets the standard the workshop is known for
- Remove masking materials once painting is complete and carry out final waxing and polishing to deliver a finished vehicle that is ready for the customer
- Apply rust-proofing treatments to vehicles where required, protecting against corrosion over the long term
- Paint signs, graphics, or decorative artwork onto vehicles where specified
