Western Australia Ports Our company provides grain quality assurance services on behalf of international buyers. We ensure that grain exported from Australia meets the import standards of receiving countries, including those regulated by Japan's import standard's — supporting the quality and safety of the cargo we are entrusted to inspect. We are seeking people looking for flexible, hands-on work to join our team as casual Grain Quality Inspectors, supporting the inspection of export wheat at major Western Australian port facilities. This is a hands-on, field-based role ideal for people who enjoy practical work, occasional travel, and contributing to Australia's agricultural export industry. No prior experience is necessary — we provide full training to get you inspection-ready. Pay Rate: $50.00 per hour, with a minimum of 2 hours pay guaranteed for any scheduled shift or standby assignment. Job Requirements: What you'll be doing: Conducting quality inspections of wheat grain during live vessel loading operations, primarily based at the Port of Kwinana with occasional assignments at other WA ports including Albany and Geraldton Operating specialised grain analysis equipment to assess export-grade grain against international standards Travelling to multiple port locations across Western Australia as required What we're looking for: A reliable, punctual individual comfortable working in an outdoor/industrial port environment Willingness to travel to port locations across WA, including ports outside your home base when required Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, or weekends in line with vessel schedules A current driver's licence and access to a vehicle Reasonable attention to detail Physical fitness suitable for an active, on-site role What we offer: Full training provided — no industry experience required Flexible casual/contractual engagement averaging 7–10+ hours per month Opportunities for work at additional port locations across Western Australia PPE provided and reimbursed for all assignments Travel expenses reimbursed for assignments outside your base port, including fuel, accommodation, and a food allowance A role connected to international grain trade — your work directly supports export operations serving global markets
