Your new role
As an Electrical Supervisor, you will lead and support a small team of electricians while ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and coordinating daily electrical maintenance activities
- Leading, mentoring, and supporting electrical personnel
- Planning and scheduling maintenance works
- Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
- Liaising with customers, team members, and internal stakeholders
- Assisting with troubleshooting and technical problem-solving
- Promoting a positive and productive team culture
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and operational outcomes
What you'll need to succeed
- Current Queensland Electrical Licence
- Mackay-based or willing to relocate to Mackay
- Previous experience leading or supervising an electrical maintenance team, or extensive experience as a Maintenance Electrician
- Strong background in industrial, mining, construction, manufacturing, or similar environments
- Proven commitment to safety, quality, and reliability
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage workloads and coordinate maintenance activities
- Stable employment history demonstrating reliability and commitment
- Experience with cranes, hoists, or lifting equipment is advantageous but not essential
