We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Process Technician to support our production operations and continuous improvement activities.

This role is responsible for monitoring production processes, supporting product quality, identifying and resolving process-related issues, and ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards. You will play a key role in maintaining efficient production operations, supporting process improvements, and helping deliver high-quality products consistently.

Task & responsibilities

 

  • Help ensure our production processes run smoothly, safely, and efficiently throughout each shift.
  • Carry out routine checks and inspections to maintain product quality and consistency.
  • Monitor production activities and identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
  • Investigate process issues as they arise and work with the team to find practical solutions.
  • Assist with production start-ups, changeovers, and adjustments to support operational requirements.
  • Complete production records accurately and maintain up-to-date documentation.
  • Support the implementation of process improvements and new product initiatives.
  • Work closely with colleagues to maintain a safe, productive, and well-organised manufacturing environment.
  • Report any safety, quality, or operational concerns and contribute to corrective actions when required.
  • Perform routine equipment checks and assist with coordinating maintenance activities to minimise downtime.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with food safety, quality, and workplace health and safety requirements.
  • Provide operational support across the production area as needed and contribute to a positive team culture.

Qualification & experience

Essential

  • Experience in a manufacturing, processing, food production, or FMCG environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve process-related issues.
  • Good understanding of food safety, quality, and workplace health and safety requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Desirable

  • Qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in food manufacturing or food processing.
  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, or continuous improvement practices.
