Key Responsibilities of NDIS Support Worker (ANZSCO 423312), Personal Care Assistant (ANZSCO 423313) and Disabled Carer (ANZSCO 423111)- In this role, you will:

  • Provide personal assistance and support to clients in daily activities, including personal care, mobility, and household tasks
  • Assist clients with their mobility and communication needs
  • Support community participation and social interaction
  • Help with meal preparation, medication reminders, and light household tasks
  • Shopping assistance and running errands for clients
  • Follow and implement individualised support plans
  • Follow therapy plans and provide direct support and assistance to therapists.
  • Build strong, supportive relationships with clients
  • Providing companionship, friendship and emotional support
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team and report changes in client’s condition to management
  • Engage in meaningful activities and support clients in achieving their personal goals and improving their quality of life
  • Foster a safe, supportive, positive and respectful environment that enhances the well-being and independence of participants

 

To be considered, you will need:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support and/or Certificate IV in Disability (or equivalent)
  • And/or at least 1 year of experience in disability carer, nursing support worker, Personal care assistant role
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Police Check (within the last 6 months)
  • Valid Australian driver’s licence
  • Reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance
