We are seeking an experienced ICT Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our ICT goods and services to existing and prospective clients, while building strong, lasting business relationships.

Task & responsibilities

• Compile lists of prospective client businesses using trade directories and other sources
• Acquire and maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products/services, competitors, and market conditions
• Visit regular and prospective clients to identify and act on selling opportunities
• Assess client needs and recommend suitable ICT goods and services
• Promote the company's ICT products and services to existing and prospective clients
• Quote and negotiate prices and credit terms, and finalise contracts and orders
• Arrange delivery of goods, installation of equipment, and provision of services
• Report to sales management on sales performance and market trends
• Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction, arranging modifications and resolving issues as needed
• Prepare sales reports and maintain accurate records of business expenses

Qualification & experience

• Sound knowledge of business IT infrastructure, hardware and software
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective listening and questioning skills
• Strong influencing/selling ability
• Proficiency in computer and database management
• 2–3 years' experience working towards sales targets and KPIs
