Westwood Medical Centre is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our supportive team. This is a part-time role, working Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Our busy clinic cares for more than 120 patients each day. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional care and fostering a collaborative and professional workplace culture.

About the Role
As a Registered Nurse at Westwood Medical Centre, you’ll play a key role in supporting our GPs and ensuring high standards of clinical care. You’ll be part of a welcoming and efficient team that values both clinical excellence and compassion.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct health assessments and assist with chronic disease management

• Support GPs with immunisations, ECGs, wound care, iron infusions, and other procedures

• Manage clinical supplies, stock control, and reordering

• Oversee cold chain and infection control protocols

• Maintain clinical equipment and ensure a safe, clean work environment

• Stay compliant with healthcare regulations and safety standards

• Foster strong communication within the team and maintain patient confidentiality

About You

• Passionate about proactive, preventative healthcare

• Professional, friendly, and empathetic communicator

• Able to work independently in a busy clinical setting

• Strong time management and organisational skills

• Committed to ongoing learning and development

Essential Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

• Tertiary qualifications in Nursing

• Previous general practice experience (essential)

• Current First Aid and CPR certification

• National Police Clearance

• Working with Children Check
